This year it looks like our open days will need to be organised with 30 minute slots and booked in advance, depending on how government advice changes over the summer. We have already carried out our first open day this way. Our remaining open days are as follows:
- Sat 25th July, 11am-3pm - nr Hungerford, Berks
- Sat 1st August, 1-6pm - nr Tunbridge Wells, Kent (postponed from 20th June)
- Sat 15th August, 11am-3pm - Romney Marsh, Kent
- Sat 5th Sept, 10am-1pm - nr Basingstoke, Hampshire
A swimming pond open day gives you the chance to see a swimming pond close up, talk to us and the owners, and of course have a swim.
At present, in line the government advice for private gardens, we are restricting numbers to 6 people in the garden at a time, and we ask that only people from the same household are in the pond at any one time.
If you are not able to come on the day you can see videos here and below of some of our open days in recent years, both of visitors swimming in swimming ponds for the first time, and of swimming pond owners talking about their own ponds.
Please let us know if you are interested in attending any of these open days, and we will email you more details nearer the time.
"I have to say it was the open day which sold the concept to us. You just have to get into the water to really appreciate it."

"Fresh water is a different experience, totally different. I had no idea when we did it."
