Swimming Pool Conversions
Natural Swimming Ponds
or Natural Swimming Pools mark
a new step in the evolution of man-made swimming facilities and a
growing number of people are converting their conventional swimming
pool to a natural swimming pool.
You can convert
your conventional pool to a natural pool, keeping the original
swimming area (or altering it if you wish) whilst adding a shallow
plant area around it to enable natural purification of the water. Or
you can keep the existing structure of the swimming pool and create
the two areas inside it - see an example in our
gallery of one we have built in this way.
Natural swimming
pools have the benefits of conventional pools, with many additional
advantages, for example:
-
Low maintenance
costs
-
No health risks
caused by chemicals
-
Attractive all year
round
-
Safe and
educational for children
-
Uniquely designed
to suit your garden and your tastes – no two swimming ponds are the
same.
Garden pond conversions
We have also converted
several existing
garden ponds to natural swimming pools and many people are finding
this is the ideal way of keeping their existing water feature and
attracting wildlife, while at the same time keeping it clean and being
able to swim in it. Every situation is unique so please contact
us to discuss this more.
