Pool Conversion Photo Gallery - Kent, 2009

This is a pool conversion in Orpington in Kent.  We kept the 8.75m by 3.75m structure of the original pool, building a small filtration zone at the far end inside the pool. 

This filtration system uses a mineral-based filtration system which allows for a much smaller planting area and traditionally used in swimming ponds.  This filtration area takes up 20% of the total surface area, compared to the 50% which is required in swimming ponds using more basic filtration systems.
