"The pond's been an absolutely joy. We don't have to change the water as you do with a conventional pool and there are no chemicals to contend with."
-- Susie Warwick, Greece, pond built 2008
On completion of the construction we will give you a brush, net and pole, along with a maintenance manual tailor-made to your pond, and walk you through the simple maintenance tasks which need to be carried out.
The maintenance required for a swimming pond is much less than for a conventional pool, as nature itself carries out most of the cleaning service. However there are small but regular tasks required, such as emptying the skimmer, and ensuring that any leaves which may have blown in do not build up in large quantities.
Many people like to spend time looking after their pond themselves. However we also have a dedicated maintenance team and offer a maintenance service which can be as often or infrequent as you need.
We see many of our ponds every month, and generally recommend that our maintenance team visits at least once a year to check on the pond's development and its equipment.
